Synopsis

Some wonders can be mistaken for monsters

Beyond Matrika’s guarded walls, a neighbouring kingdom has fallen to an enemy no survivor can explain. Now that silent force is moving south: pale warriors who strike without warning, and leave only rumours in their wake. Desperate to defend his people, Matrika’s king turns to forgotten legends, hoping myth can succeed where armies may fail.

As war draws closer, creatures glimpsed only in fragments, beautiful and terrifying, caught somewhere between nature, myth, and miracle begin to emerge. To survive what is coming, the Veilhost must discover which stories were meant to frighten them, and which were meant to awaken them.
